Mthente's Green Policy

Share |

Environmentally friendly practices are those that help to ensure and promote a healthy and clean environment. In accordance with this approach, Mthente has instituted a “green” policy, which starts with the basics and extends to decisions regarding procurements and other company practices. These include:

  • Turning off equipment when it is not being used and turning off computers at the end of each day.
  • Printing double-sided documents and re-using scrap paper whenever possible.
  • Finding a supply of paper with maximum available recycled content.
  • Being as tree-friendly as possible with minimum amounts of printing and paper wastage.
  • Being more energy conservative – minimising office lighting and the use of appliances.
  • Procuring from other “green” companies.
  • Considering the effects of products and services on the environment over their whole lifecycle.

Mthente is open to suggestions from its associates and clients on ways it can be even more “green”.
