International Academic Programmes Office (IAPO) – Strategic Planning Facilitation

Mthente has a strong working relationship with the International Academic Programmes Office (IAPO) at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and has facilitated several strategic planning sessions for them, in addition to carrying out two impact assessments.

The most recent facilitation was held on the 10th and 11th of March 2011 with the purpose of following up on an earlier DVC/Management workshop and involving IAPO staff in the brainstorming of the strategic changes that IAPO wants to undertake as a UCT Department. The workshop was attended by all IAPO staff including management. The two-day long workshop aimed at providing participants with an opportunity to reflect on key strategic aspects of the work and meaning of work at IAPO.
 
New Projects

April/May 2012

Mthente has recently been commissioned to undertake the following projects, among others:

  • A Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for the City of Cape Town's Department of Social Development
  • A Regulatory Impact Assessment for the Department of Trade and Industry
  • A Value Chain Analysis and Beneficiation Study for Productivity SA
  • A Customer Satisfaction Survey for the City of Cape Town's HR Department
  • A Total Cost of Ownership Study for the Centre for e-Innovation
